After such a resounding defeat at the polls the taxpayer has indicated that they are particular about how they want their system fixed.  I know personally, that in order to vote, I had to invest an hours time finding my correct polling station, after being misdirected by polling station personnel three separate times.  If I had not felt so strongly about this referendum I would have given up and went home.

After failing miserably our elected representatives might now consider consulting with taxpayers on how to reform our electoral system, one can only hope. I am sure honesty and intergrity would play a big part of every voters concern.  Although this is not a prerequeset that many politicians would like to see, it might lead to voters having some faith and belief in their politicians again when they make their campaign promises. It seems this election was lost by the party who made the worst promise, but no concern was apparently given to past broken promises.

Let us hope that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and politicians will begin the long journey back to intergrity and credibility.
